Bally Captain Fantastic and the Dirt Brown Cowboy (EM)
Bally Captain Fantastic and the Dirt Brown Cowboy (EM)
'Capt. Fantastic' was inspired by the movie 'Tommy' and includes a representation of Elton John, as his character from the movie, playing pinball on the back-glass. The game name, however, is the title of Elton John's 1975 autobiographical song and album where "Captain Fantastic" was Elton and "The Brown Dirt Cowboy" was his then-lyricist Bernie Taupin. Included in the song lyrics are the words "From the end of the world to your town" which appear at the very top centre of the back-glass.
This is an Electro-Mechanical (EM) pinball, using mechanical relays, motors, switches, etc. but no electronic parts (except possibly resistors or basic rectifiers used sparringly), to make decisions and change scoring amounts and game play.
This machine was originally used in commercial environments such as arcades, public houses, and amusements.
When you place your order with us, we will take the machine out of storage and bring it into our workshop, where technicians will fully clean and test all the components to ensure they are in working order as well as making any repairs that may be necessary.
Because of the age of these machines and that fact that they were originally used in commercial environments, it is possible that there may be signs of cosmetic wear and tear. However, we feel that these slight imperfections only add to the patina of this classic machine and helps to tell a story of its past life.
Please understand that some items may take up to 28 days for a full refurbishment.
