Bally Eight Ball
Bally Eight Ball
Originally manufactured in 1977 by Bally, this pool themed pinball is a solid-state machine, but the sound is not generated by a sound board. Instead, a 4-note MPU controlled chime box produces the sound for this game. This provides the experience of solid-state scoring and response, with the added nostalgia of Electro-mechanical chimes.
Eight Ball is the first pinball machine to feature the amazing memory and recall system where it saves which pool balls each player has hit and saves them for the next turn.
Stripes or Solid Competition
The first and third players shoot at the lit solid pool balls that ae set up in the rack on the playfield, while the second and forth players shoot the stripes. The black 8 ball is neutral and lit by a skill shot after each player’s sequence is hit.
New Bank Shot Lane
The bank shot lane and related skill shots are the keys to multiplied bonus scores and extra balls.
Big Jump Spinner Gate
The value of each spin of the gate is multiplied by 100 when lit by 10 to 1000 points. The gate is lit by skill shots tied to the rack ball.
Giant Out Hole Bonus
The ball entering the out-hole scores 3000 points for each ball lit in the rack. A super bonus can also be scored by the ball entering the out hole with the super bonus lit. The super bonus is lit when the player lights all the balls in the rack.
Reconditioning Process:
This machine was originally used in commercial environments such as arcades, public houses, and amusements.
When you place your order with us, we will take the machine out of storage and bring it into our workshop, where technicians will fully clean and test all the components to ensure they are in working order as well as making any repairs that may be necessary.
Because of the age of these machines and that fact that they were originally used in commercial environments, it is possible that there may be signs of cosmetic wear and tear. However, we feel that these slight imperfections only add to the patina of this classic machine and helps to tell a story of its past life.
Please understand that some items may take up to 28 days for a full refurbishment.
